RECIPE: Chef Colin Creates Appetizers That Will Wow Your Guests
Chef Colin was back on Mornings on Fox today, and he has prepared a feast of appetizers.
Some might say appetizers are one of the best parts of a holiday party or dinner. Looking at what Colin brought to the station, it’s not hard to see why.
Recipe: Brie with Honey
1 pound Triple Cream Brie
6 ounces Local Honey
2 each Ripe Pears
2 each Apples
8 ounces Spiced Pecans
40 pieces Crostini-French Baguette
4 ounces Butter
Place Butter in microwave and melt
Slice Baguette into 1/4 inch slices and paint with butter and bake in oven at 350 degrees for 8 minutes
Cut the outside Rhine off the brie and place in middle of platter, smother with honey
Cut apples and pears in thin slices, place over and around honey
Cover with pecans and serve with the warm crostini
